About Bulgan
Location and Geography
Bulgan Province lies in central Mongolia and is
characterized by beautiful forest-covered mountains, including Bulgankhan,
Buregkhangai, Dulaankhan, Buteel, Khantai, and Darkhan Khaan mountains. Its
landscape consists of rolling hills, forests, river valleys, and fertile
grasslands, making it one of the country's important agricultural and livestock
regions.
Population and Culture
Bulgan Province has long been recognized as one of the
ancient homelands of the Mongolian peoples, as evidenced by numerous archaeological
discoveries and historical records. The area was once inhabited by several
powerful states and empires, including the Xiongnu (Hunnu), Rouran, Xianbei,
Turkic, Uyghur, Khitan, and Kyrgyz kingdoms. Many historical monuments and

the province.

Mongol Empire. Numerous sites associated with the Merkid and Khereid tribes of
the 12th and 13th centuries, as well as locations linked to the legacy
