DAY 1

    Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, and check in to your hotel. Take some time to relax, get acquainted with traditional Mongolian cuisine, and receive detailed information about Mongolia’s history, culture, the nomadic lifestyle, and the itinerary for the 7-day tour.

DAY 2

    Travel from Ulaanbaatar to Ogii Lake, located 348 km away, where you can stroll along the pristine lakeshore, experience the peaceful lifestyle of nomadic communities, observe waterfowl, capture the reflections of the sky on the clear waters in photographs, enjoy a picnic, fishing, and fully immerse yourself in Mongolia’s stunning and untouched natural landscapes.

ADVICE:

  • Warm, windproof clothing: Even in summer, evenings can be cold and windy.
  • Water bottle, sunscreen, and hat: The sun is strong and there is little shade.
  • Sturdy walking shoes: The area includes mountains, rocky paths, and wetlands, so comfortable footwear is essential.
  • Camera/drone chargers and spare batteries: Electricity is limited in rural areas.
  • Use the “golden hour”: Early morning and sunset offer the best light for photography.
  • Ask permission before visiting local families: Always ask before taking photos of people.
  • Ger (yurt) etiquette: Do not step on the doorstep, and accept items with your right hand.
  • Carry cash: ATMs and card payment options are rare.
  • First-aid kit: Bring basic medicines, bandages, and insect repellent.
  • Respect historical sites: Do not write on or damage rocks and monuments.
  • Ask for a helmet when horseback riding: This is very important, especially for beginners.
